Easy AP Referencing App Reviews

Really helpful with my referencing since I use APA a lot in university! There are only a few flaws that could be fixed in the app however, I am managing to work around them for now. Some of the flaws I have noticed are: -Failure to space between author names and initials… IE. Smith, D.,Doe, F. (2007). VS. Smith, D., Doe, F. (2007). -Sometimes when I correct a "saved" reference and save the new version of the reference it reverts back to the old saved reference even though I corrected and saved my changes -I have also noticed after a colon there is no space IE. St. Louise:Elsevier VS. St. Louise: Elsevier If these errors/bugs were to be fixed I would rate this app a five star!

Basically have to edit each entry as it does not accept volume and issue numbers for journals. Also, adds a piece at the end that has nothing to with the reference. Might as well type it right into Word doc itself.

This App opens and starts fine. Once you enter in your reference information is crashes. It wont generate a reference at all. This app is a waste of money.

I just started, and the software doesnt allow me to put more than 4 authors for a reference. Also, at the second reference that I tried to put, the software didnt work. I inserted all the data, but it didnt create the reference text. It works very, very bad. Ho appena iniziato ad usarla: al primo inserimento bibliografico, scopro che non posso inserire più di 4 nomi di autori. Al secondo tentativo, quando vado a formare il testo bibliografico, il programma non lo crea. Funziona molto male.

Great and simple idea that is perhaps still in the early stages of development. The citations that I created and “saved” did not actually save to the “saved” list. $3.99 seems reasonable when your looking for a less comprehensive and easier to use application than EndNote, but not if it doesn’t work.

You fill in the data fields, and it does nothing. Worthless, scam, do not depend on it. Support page link is broken. I want my money back.

I just purchased it and it only exported one reference. Not worth it. Too bad there arent many apps for the APA style.

No help file, no instructions on scanning ISBN barcode.. Four dollars wasted

For the most part it has worked well. I did run into few situations when entering the information it wouldn’t let me click on generate citation or there would be an error and close out and have to start all over.

I would have liked to see it transfer to Pages, but it works for the general idea of the citation. If you are new to doing citations then is not a bad program to cut your teeth on.

Most things I need to cite are chapters / articles within edited books. That’s not even an option in this app.

It will not generate a citation , but always gives an error and says to reopen. Does the same thing after re opening. Won’t let you go to support page either

I would like to know how I can retrieve all of the previous resources that I had saved. With the update everythign was deleted! =(
